Primary Transition

Royal Wootton Bassett Academy believe that the transition from Primary to Secondary School is very important and therefore we try and make it as smooth as possible. 

On this page you will find, a virtual tour of the school site, some 360-degree photos of the main spaces around school, and a transition booklet should you wish to complete it. 

Keep an eye on this page as it will be regularly updated with photos from our transitional activities that happen here at RWBA. We run ‘Our World’ sessions for Year 5 students so they can have a taster session in different subjects and get used to being in the school. We also do a gifted and talented stretch session in Maths with some Year 6 students. In Year 7 we also invite the Year 6 Primary School teachers to come and meet with the students and see how they have been progressing in Year 7.
