Across the 2 year course pupils study Applied Anatomy & Physiology, Movement analysis, Physical training, Health, Fitness & Well-being, Spor Psychology, Socio-cultural influences, Use of data and in practical lessons pupils are accessed in a choice of a variety of activities. Assessment takes to form of 2 exams at the end of year 11 and the completion of 2 non examined assessments, one practical and one course work piece.

Core PE

In KS4 pupils are given the opportunity to select pathways which form their focus for the year, allowing them to specialise in activity areas of choice. Pupils select from Aesthetics, Fitness, Games and Leadership. Throughout the year these pathways are then complemented with a variety of alternative activities agreed between teachers and pupils. Pupils continue to develop their RWBA P,K,M PE profile in year 10 and 11 but with assessment focus on their chosen specialist pathway. They are awarded a certificate in summary of their RWBA PE journey at the end of the year for addition to pupil's records of achievement.
