Science Club
Science club is for any year 7 and 8 student to attend who would like to further develop their interest in Science, advance their skills in fieldwork, research and project presentations. Science club sessions will include one-off experiments that would not normally be conducted during lessons building to students investigating a question of their own and presenting it to a group of their peers.
Since October 2020, activities and experiments that could be conducted at home with everyday materials have been uploaded on a weekly basis to SMHW. All Year 7 and Year 8 students had access to these activities via the homework platform. The activities have also been uploaded to the KS3 Science Revision area of the school intranet for students to access at any time.
